New hair, new life: Behind the scenes of an incredible makeover.

Diagnosis: breast cancer. Devastating news for any woman, including Frankfurt native, Christine. Her entire life was turned upside down. Priorities shifted. All of a sudden, her world looked completely different. Fortunately, this story has a happy ending for Christine. She’s doing well and is so full of life! With one catch: after chemotherapy, her already fine hair didn’t grow back as usual. No matter what products Christine tried, her hair was even thinner and weaker than before.

Wigs: A solution with lots of compromises

Over time, Christine‘s longing for fuller hair became stronger and stronger. Wanting to wear her hair down, or maybe in a thick braid…Christine’s first thought? A wig. Although this promised to be a quick solution, there was a problem: “It was quite a strange feeling to have to take my wig off every evening,” says Christine. “It was like I was taking a part of me off.”
Then she heard about Hairdreams MicroLines. A full head of hair, that’s permanent? Without having to “take anything off”? A solution where my activities like swimming and motorcycling were not restricted? Is this even possible? “I’ll admit, I was curious and a bit skeptical at first, but MicroLines really convinced me,” Christine reports. “MicroLines delivered 100% of what they promised. At the heart of Christine’s transformation is our MicroLines. The highest quality human hairs are attached to fine threads creating a micro thin net. MicroLines come in a variety or standard models, or can be custom-made to a clients specific needs. This was the case with Christine.
The MicroLines are attached securely, and with absolute care to Christine‘s own hair. This was of particular importance, because understandably, she didn‘t want to stress her already fine hair.

XXL length with Quikkies Tape Extensions

We went a little further and decided to lengthen Christine’s hair with our Quikkies Tape Extensions. These feather-light tapes are attached at the hairline for amazing natural looking length.
The client’s hair is then cut and styled. The result? An absolute dream! Christine can now wear her MicroLines for up to a year and a half.
